Baroque Pop

About a year ago I went through a serious Baroque Pop phase in my musical life. The Beatles and the Beach Boys are examples of popular Baroque Pop bands, but imma show you a couple songs I don't think get enough credit in the minds of today.

Walk Away Renee - The Left Banke

I heard this song while I was watching Ally McBeal. In the show, Vonda Shepard sings it. Of course, The Left Banke's version is so much better.

Another note-worthy song by The Left Banke is Pretty Ballerina. I find this song a little creepy, but I like creepy.

My World Fell Down - Sagittarius

HOLY CRAP I LOVE THIS SONG!!! I can't tell you how happy I am to have heard this song come on my iTunes shuffle. After hearing this song, I needed to make this Baroque Pop post. You're very welcome.
