In Your Eyes, In The Sun

In Your Eyes - Peter Gabriel

Seasons In The Sun - Terry Jacks

Home

To Build A Home - The Cinematic Orchestra

I first heard this song on So You Think You Can Dance, during a solo by the amazing Billy Bell.

Sunny Came Home - Shawn Colvin

Every Second Counts - Going Home

I should go to bed soon, but these songs came to mind. Listen to them. NOW. Ok, you don't have to...

Oblivion in British Columbia

Oblivion - Astor Piazzolla

I originally heard this song on So You Think You Can Dance during Lauren Froderman's Argentine Tango routine. I listen to it over and over after that.

British Columbia - The Elected

I found this song on some obscure website I don't remember, but I liked the feel of the song, so I got it. Deal. Don't judge. Fine, if you don't like it, just move on. Sheesh. This guy... yea! haha yea, that guy! Gotta love when people just do that for no reason. Haha, oh life.

Movie Music: Into Where The Wild Things Are

Worried Shoes - Karen O and the Kids

I still have to see Where The Wild Things Are. I heard this song first in a short film called Buildings & Vampires:

Guarenteed - Eddie Vedder

I first saw Into The Wild very late at night. At night I love these campfire type songs so I think it was the perfect context to watch the film.

I'm an Artist Pusher: Joan Osborne

She's best known for her song, "One of Us," used as the theme for Joan of Arcadia. Whoa, I just realized JOAN Osborne wrote the theme to JOAN of Arcadia... freaky....

Anyways, here are a couple of her songs that I like. Take 'em or leave 'em.

Right Hand Man

Haha, I remember first hearing this song on constant repeat when I would come into my Gifted and Talented teacher's room after school before I would leave. Gosh, I was quite obnoxious back then... I may have gotten worse over time... Scratch that, I have gotten worse.

St. Teresa

Another creepy sounding song that I love. When I first heard this song, I picture the type of atmosphere portrayed in Point Pleasant, yet less sucky.

You Don't Know My Eyes

You Don't Know Me - Ben Folds featuring Regina Spektor

I love Regina Spektor! I think her combination with Ben Folds was a good match, taking their tastes in consideration. I'm just mad that she isn't in the video...

Eyes - Tracy Bonham

Sorry, I couldn't find a studio version. I first heard this on Pandora while working on a project sophomore year. I vividly remember that night.
